Evaluating my Dialogue video

In media we were set a task to create a small video that had dialogue in it. Although we completed the small clip there were some problems with our final outcome. One problem which the clip was that you could hear the background noise like the wind and people talking which distracts you from the conversation between the two characters. Another problem that we had was when we used a wide angle shot of both of the characters, the audio was very quiet and muffled because the camera was too far away from the characters. So if we were to do this again we would have to use a external microphone so we are able to capture the dialogue and not be to quiet. In our clip we ended up using music to try and get rid of some of the background music, but the music ended up being to loud so we  you weren't able to hear some of the speak within the  two characters.
