Twickenham Studios
Twickenham first came alive in 1913 and was owned by Dr. Ralph Jupp. One of Twickenham's first produced films was called “The House of Temperley”. Then in 1929 the studio was owned by Julius Hagen and Leslie Hiscott and was renamed Twickenham Film Studios.
Twickenham has produced over 300 films from 'War Horse' to 'Tomorrow Never Dies". Twickenham have also produced:
- World War Z
- The Italian Job
- The Duchess
- The Iron Lady
In 1969, The Beatles used the studios while rehearsing music for their album Let It Be. A film was made of some of the sessions, and both the film and the album were released in 1970.
